Dear Parents,

After 30 wonderful summers serving as the Camp Director of Camp Little Shots, it is with a full heart that I share some personal news: I will be stepping down from my role as Director. Though I will no longer be at camp every day, please know that I will continue to support the camp in an advisory role, helping to guide and preserve the traditions, values, and spirit that have made this place so special to all of us. I'm confident that the camp is in great hands and will continue to thrive with the talented staff and dedicated team that make it all happen.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about Camp Little Shots as we prepare for another amazing summer.

After more than 30 years of dedicated leadership, Mrs. Bunny Nahem will be transitioning into an advisory role. Her legacy of warmth, care, and devotion has shaped generations of campers, and we are deeply grateful for all she has given to Little Shots.

At the same time, we are proud to introduce our new Director of Camp Little Shots, Mrs. Rachel Yedid. Rachel is an exceptionally capable and talented leader who brings tremendous energy, creativity, and a deep love for children to her work. She has meaningful experience as a Morah in the classroom, where she inspired her students with warmth and care. In addition, Rachel has successfully run art programs for various camps, designing engaging, creative experiences that have left a lasting impact on children.

Rachel is known for being extremely talented, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to excellence. She understands the high standards of Camp Little Shots and is dedicated to ensuring that each child has a safe, joyful, and inspiring summer experience. With Rachel’s leadership, Little Shots will continue to grow and thrive, building on its strong foundation while adding new energy and creativity.

Rachel will be joined by Mrs. Freda Belhassen, our outstanding assistant director. Our parent body had the opportunity to see Freda in action last summer, and her warmth, work ethic, genuine care for each child, and happy disposition were evident to all. We are so fortunate to have her on our team, and we look forward to another summer benefitting from her dedication and positivity.

In addition, Mrs. Rahma Kishk will continue to lead her truly professional swim program, where every child is taught the skills to swim with confidence. Rahma is unequivocally the best at what she does, and her program ensures that every camper leaves the summer stronger, safer, and more capable in the water.

We are excited for the future of Camp Little Shots under Rachel’s direction and look forward to a wonderful summer filled with growth, learning, and lasting memories.
